Little Brooklands Nursery located at Brooklands College in Weybridge is under threat of closure due to redevelopment of the college campus and the nursery will be demolished during this summer.

Little Brooklands was opened in October 2002 to provide childcare places for Brooklands students and staff, as well as for the local community.

It is an exceptionally homely and happy environment where children enjoy learning and are continually stimulated with curriculum based activities.

There is a clear shortage of quality daycare in the Weybridge area. This increasingly highlights the importance of maintaining existing daycare structures.

To represent and watch over the interests of Weybridge residents

To safeguard and enhance Weybridge public amenities and other amenities which the society considers worth enhancing and safeguarding in the interests of Weybridge

To give effect to the views of the society upon Weybridge affairs, to brief councillors, county councilors, regional representatives and members of the national and European parliaments with these views and to represent them to the district government and other public bodies

Promotes the interests of residents living in or bordering the Westfield Common area

The Surrey Heath Freecycle group is open to all residents of Surrey Heath (Bagshot,Bisley,Camberley,Chobham,Frimley,Frimley Green,Lightwater, Mytchett,West End and Windlesham) who want to "recycle" that special something rather than throw it away. Whether it's a chair, a fax machine, piano or an old door, feel free to post it. Or maybe you're looking to acquire something yourself! Nonprofit groups are also welcome to participate too!

One main rule: everything posted must be free. This group is part of The Freecycle Network, a nonprofit organization and a movement of people interested in keeping good stuff out of landfills.
