The 89129 Neighborhood Watch group is dedicated to community crime prevention and crime awareness in the 89129 neighborhood surrounding Garehime Elementary School in Las Vegas, Nevada. The purpose of this e-mail group is to inform and alert residents about criminal incidents and suspicious activity in the neighborhood in the belief that such knowledge will enhance personal safety and property protection.
To Join> Mention the street you live on. Send any suggestion you might have. You can always send a private email. Post any information regarding criminal acts in our neighborhood. Someone may have observed something that can be helpful in solving the crime and preventing a future crime.
We need to be pro-active. Do something. Go outside and just look around once in a while, especially at night. Hear a noise; investigate. Find out why your neighbors have not joined this group and encourage them to join. Talk with your neighbors and look out for each other. Pick up any trash or newspapers that accumulate. Even if it isn't in front of your house! Let's take back our neighborhood and our park. We paid for our house and we all own the neighborhood. Let's act like we own it and take care of it.
