We are a social and informational homeschool support group, based in Rochester, New York, on the west side. We have no plans at this time to establish group lessons.
Families homeschooling in the city - or considering it - need a city-based group to meet their needs and provide nearby social opportunities for parents and children (we understand that those living outside Rochester may have exaggerated ideas about city "dangers" and be reluctant to visit our homes).
Membership is intended for city residents, but is open to those living in the suburbs, provided they understand and accept our city location.
We offer help and encouragement to prospective, new, and more experienced homeschoolers, Have questions? Need information or help making the case for homeschooling? Could use emotional support and encouragement in battling self-doubt and staying the course?
